“I don’t know who wrote this but I feel it says a lot, and hopefully will bring comfort to the friends and families of our service members who have made the ultimate sacrifice. Please know that there are many of us you will never meet but who are grateful for your loved one’s service to their country.
“The body is gone, but the spirit is still alive. Within the walls of your heart, his memory will never die. Hold onto the memories of the good times you had, laugh and remember, do not be sad. No more hurt and no more pain, he goes on to live again. For in the hearts and the minds of his loved ones and friends, he will forever be a Hero, a soldier to the end.”
